The ten featured models, wearing plain dance costumes, were photographed against a clean white backdrop, making it easy to see every aspect of every pose. A lot of the same camera errors. Here are just a few: Focus: Dirty and greasy lenses creating a smeared out of focus image, or too close for the lens to focus as a result the image was large and out of focus. The camera which was working perfectly yesterday has seized up. “ the key to becoming a great portrait photographer is simply a love of people.” As I strain my eyes to see what I’m doing, I mutter that it might have something to do with the new memory card I’ve brought along. There are four intermarried things that have to happen to take the photograph. Nikon’s 50mm F1.8 is sharper than Canon’s. In fact, it’s quite a bit sharper and comes with a slightly higher price as well. Nikon’s F1.4 is used widely at concerts and weddings in addition to photographers who capture portraits with cameras like a D300s. The four things are: ISO, aperture, shutter speed and focus. To be successful, this image needed a moment, a good background and appropriate light. The travel, not the photography, is what matters most important, so my favorite place to take photos is wherever photographer happen to want or need to be for any reason.
